Role Overview
Programme and operate multi-axis CNC machining centres for precision valve body and component manufacturing. Optimise toolpaths for cycle time reduction while maintaining dimensional accuracy.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop CNC programmes for valve body, bonnet and trim components
- Set up and operate VMC, HMC and turning centres
- Perform first-off and in-process dimensional inspection
- Maintain cutting tools and programme database
- Work with process engineers on new product introduction
Requirements
- ITI / Diploma / B.E. Mechanical
- 4+ years programming Fanuc/Siemens/Heidenhain CNC controls
- CAM software experience (Mastercam, NX CAM, or similar)
- Ability to read engineering drawings and GD&T
- Experience machining alloy steel, stainless steel preferred
