Certifications & Approvals
Our products carry the international certifications and statutory approvals your projects require — earned through rigorous testing and third-party audits.
Internationally Recognised Approvals
Every certification we hold is maintained through regular surveillance audits, product re-testing and process reviews.
Our ISO 9001:2015 certification covers the complete product lifecycle from design and procurement through manufacturing, testing and despatch. All processes are documented and subject to regular internal and external audits.
AIRA is committed to minimising the environmental impact of our manufacturing operations. ISO 14001 certification governs waste management, energy consumption, water use and emissions across our Ahmedabad facility.
The safety of our 2,000+ employees is paramount. ISO 45001:2018 certification ensures systematic management of workplace health and safety risks, with zero-fatality and injury-reduction targets.
CE marking under the Pressure Equipment Directive allows AIRA products to be sold across the European Economic Area without additional national approvals. All CE-marked products are manufactured and tested to the applicable European harmonised standards.
API 6D is the internationally recognised standard for pipeline valves used in oil & gas service. AIRA's API 6D monogram licence covers ball valves and gate valves in sizes up to 36" Class 2500.
API 607 fire testing verifies that soft-seated valves can provide adequate shut-off following exposure to a fire. All AIRA ball valves and butterfly valves above 1" are fire tested to API 607 as standard.
ATEX certification is mandatory for valve automation products used in potentially explosive atmospheres in Europe. AIRA pneumatic actuators, solenoid valves and limit switch boxes are ATEX certified to Category 2G/2D (Zone 1/21), with Category 1 available on request.
IBR approval is a statutory requirement for valves used on Indian boilers and steam systems. AIRA holds active IBR approval for ball valves, gate valves, globe valves, check valves and pressure safety valves across all size and pressure ranges.
WRAS approval confirms that materials used in water contact surfaces will not adversely affect the quality of drinking water. Required for projects in the UK and many Commonwealth markets.
Our Commitment to Quality
AIRA Euro Automation is committed to consistently meeting and exceeding customer, statutory and regulatory requirements. We achieve this through continual improvement of our quality management system, investment in people and technology, and maintaining the highest standards of manufacturing integrity.
